Ferguson Marine (Port Glasgow) Ltd has been in operation since 1903, with a rich history, the shipyard is known for delivering Clyde built vessels that are world class, as well as fabrication and engineering services. The shipyard, wholly owned by Scottish Ministers since it was taken into public ownership in December 2019, is presently focussed on the completion and delivery of the Glen Rosa ferry, ongoing work with BAE Systems on the Type 26 frigate programme, modernising the shipyard, and securing new projects.
