Inverclyde Chamber of Commerce (ICC) has announced it will be holding an event to share details of its relaunch and look ahead to the coming year.
ICC has spent the summer recess focusing on delivering a wide range of improvements, following feedback from its members earlier this year.
As a result, the launch event will focus on sharing all the updated activity to the Inverclyde business community, which includes fresh branding and website, an annual networking events calendar, its new 2020 awards to replace the Bee’s Knees and the Chamber’s new 2019-2024 Strategy.
Following the initial session, there will be an opportunity for businesses to network together which will be hosted by the Chamber.
The event will also give members the opportunity to meet the Board of Directors as well as new Senior Executive Officer (SEO), Rachel Burns who joined the Chamber in July 2019.
ICC President, Gavin McDonagh said:
“We have listened carefully to our member’s feedback, and as a result, we have invested heavily into making substantial improvements to the Chamber’s offering and look forward to sharing these.
“It is an exciting time for the Chamber, and with a new SEO, a revamped Board of Director’s and multiple other improvements all ensuring a fantastic offering for businesses as well as creating opportunities to network and come together to support business growth.
“We have an open-door policy to new, existing and former members and would invite all businesses to engage with the Chamber in the coming year and beyond”
The event will take place on Wednesday 28th August at 5.30pm – 7.30pm at the Beacon Arts Centre in Greenock. The event is open to all businesses, regardless of membership, with a buffet and refreshments provided.
