Inverclyde fell silent in solemn reflection and respect today as the community came together to honour The Fallen.
Parades took place across the district amid tranquil and sunny autumnal weather, with Inverclyde Chamber in attendance to represent the local business community at the Wellpark in Greenock.
Provost Drew McKenzie said: “This is a hugely important time of year to remember those who paid the ultimate sacrifice during the two World Wars and subsequent conflicts.
“The names on the war memorials throughout our towns and villages represent the life of someone from our community who was lost in battle.
