A formal announcement has now been made by the Scottish Government announcing that Stephen Leckie has been appointed the new chair of VisitScotland effective 1st April 2024.

Stephen will take over from outgoing Chair Lord Thurso. The appointment is for three years, from 1 April 2024 until 31 March 2027. Stephen’s role as President of SCC will continue as planned, without seeking reappointment for an additional term.
