Ocean Youth Trust Scotland is a leading voluntary organisation and youth work charity. For more than 20 years, they have been providing life-changing experiences to young people aged 12-25 through youth work on the waves.

Whether you’re part of the office team or at sea with young people, your input could make a real difference to the lives of disadvantaged young people from across Scotland.

*This is a voluntary role and therefore there is no salary, however, volunteer expenses can be claimed.

OYT Scotland is an award-winning voluntary organisation and youth work charity. Our sailing voyages provide a uniquely powerful and effective environment for the personal development of young people from all backgrounds. Since 1999, we have supported more than 15,000 disadvantaged young people aged 12-25 through the unique experience of youth work on the waves.

As they approach our 25th anniversary, we are looking to recruit up to four new Trustees who will bring fresh ideas, enthusiasm and a willingness to help change the lives of young people from across Scotland.

They are looking for applicants with experience in the following fields:

• Law
• Fundraising
• Corporate PR/Marketing
• Equality, Diversity and Inclusion

However, applicants with other skill sets are welcome to apply.

Applicants do not need to show previous experience in a Trustee position. Instead, they are interested to see the unique skills and experience that you can bring to the Board, and how you can support youth work on the waves.
