SCC launches Snap Poll on Employment Rights Bill

The UK Government has introduced the Employment Rights Bill that seeks to make changes to workers’ rights in the UK.

It has also published The Invest 2035 strategy green paper, which outlines the government’s plan to drive long-term economic growth across the UK by focusing on innovation and sustainability.

Scottish Chambers of Commerce has launched a snap poll to gather business views on the bill, the industrial strategy, and gauge priorities ahead of the Autumn Budget.

This survey looks at:

•    reaction to measures in the Employment Rights Bill;
•    views on the Industrial Strategy ‘Invest 2035’;
•    priorities for the Autumn Budget

The survey is now in field and will run until the end of October.
