Inverclyde Chamber of Commerce (ICC) has announced an exciting line-up of networking events for the new year, including a new networking format and completed with the relaunch of the 2020 Inverclyde Business Awards.

The first event will take place on Thursday 16 January 2020 and is a continuation of the successful look behind the scenes series with Inverclyde businesses.

The morning will enable businesses to learn more about the Drinks Lab, which specialises as a small-batch bottling facility, capable of producing ranges for both alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks.

The event will take place from 8 am to 10 am, and tickets are free for ICC Members or £5 for guests. They can be secured via Eventbrite – click here.

ICC will also be launching a new networking format this month, called Twenty2020. This format is held over lunch and gives businesses an opportunity to showcase their products or services to the local business community.

The format is simple; a 20-minute overview, a 20-minute discussion followed by 20-minute’s networking before returning to the workplace.

Circle Insurance, part of the Circle Group, is the first business to showcase and will provide an insight into cyber insurance for companies as well as educating attendees about the potential risks and covers required for their areas of expertise.

The event takes place at 12.30 pm on Wednesday 22 January 2020 at Café Balfe in West Blackhall Street in Greenock, and tickets are available from Eventbrite – click here.

A drop-in session with ICC’s Senior Executive, Rachel Burns will take place at 4 pm until 5.30 pm on Wednesday 29 January 2020 at Good Brew in Kempock Street in Gourock.

The drop-in aims to allow members and guests to meet with the Chamber to understand where ICC can support and collaborate.

ICC President, Gavin McDonagh said:

“ICC has dramatically grown its events programme over the past six months, and these four, very different types of events should offer something to every business.
