Inverclyde Chamber CEO, George McKay joined STV News last night (4th August) to talk about the opportunities the new visitor centre development at Greenock Ocean Terminal will provide local businesses.
During the segment, which featured a range of local businesses including Inverclyde Tourism Group and Tonino’s, George talked about the Chamber’s hopes that the new pontoon and centre will create £20-30 million pounds annually for the local economy.
STV News visited several local businesses following the visit the same day to Greenock by the UK Government’s minister for Scotland, Iain Stewart and the Scottish Government’s tourism minister, Ivan McKee to review the progress of the development.
