Amazon is committed to helping SMEs master the digital tools they need to succeed and a free Amazon Bootcamp event is being held to support start-ups and SMEs in Scotland with practical advice on how to get online and grow their export sales.
The Exporting for Businesses in Scotland event will take place on Tuesday 26 October 2021 and will be hosted by Enterprise Nation, in partnership with Amazon and Scottish Development International (SDI).
The event is part of a series of exporting boot camps held across the UK following the success of the Amazon Small Business Accelerator (ASBA), founded by Amazon and Enterprise Nation.
Attendees will be offered up to three and a half hours of free training and support on how to navigate the current exporting challenges for small businesses, details of how to use marketing and brand tools on Amazon, and an opportunity to hear first-hand from successful Amazon small businesses selling to customers around the world online.
The Amazon Small Business Accelerator was created with business support network Enterprise Nation to provide a free package of support, online learning and bootcamp events to help them start and grow online.
The programme has supported 12,000 small business in Scotland since its launch last July. A survey of businesses who have participated also found that 79% credit it with helping improve their business performance, while a further 88% expect it to improve their performance in the next 12 months.
