If you’re an employer who may have to think about making redundancies, Partnership Action for Continuing Employment (PACE) can support your employees through the redundancy process.

PACE is the Scottish Government’s initiative dedicated to responding to redundancy situations. It’s a partnership of 24 organisations together with the Scottish Government which includes Skills Development Scotland, the Department of Work and Pensions, local authorities, and the Scottish Chambers of Commerce, who are dedicated to providing free, confidential, and impartial advice, guidance, and support during redundancy.

PACE can help businesses by supporting employees through the redundancy process. PACE support is available to all individuals affected by redundancy, no matter the size of the business.

PACE Advisers have extensive experience in dealing with redundancy situations and can:

• Help staff with writing CVs, searching for jobs, completing applications, and preparing for interviews
• Advise on benefits staff may be entitled to
• Provide information on learning and training opportunities.
