DYW West, hosted by West College Scotland, is the Scottish Government-funded regional group in place bringing industry and education closer together to help develop the young workforce across Inverclyde, Renfrewshire, East Renfrewshire & West Dunbartonshire.

Members of ICC since 2016, DYW West works alongside employers of all sectors and sizes across Inverclyde, who can get involved in a number of ways, for example:

• employ apprentices
• attend careers events
• offer work experience / internships
• give talks & tours
• help with CV’s & interviews
• mentor a young person via MCR Pathways or Career Ready

Employers that do any of the above, or plan to in the future, can pledge their support to the Young Person’s Guarantee.

There’s a proforma at www.dywwest.co.uk/YPG – and DYW can help you complete it if needed. Once approved, employers can use the YPG logo on their channels.
