Renfrewshire Council along with City Region partners is holding a half-day event focused on sustainability for business.
This event aims to bring together progressive thinkers and inspirational businesses in the net zero space that are progressing toward sustainable economic growth, along with organisations that can support the next steps in the sustainability journey for businesses.
The purpose of the event is to bring together businesses who are keen to progress their net zero journeys, share best practices and experiences, raise awareness of the sustainability agenda, and signpost support services that are available to businesses within the area.
The agenda will be focussed on three key themes:
• Sustainability and Savings – How implementing sustainability measures can result in business savings, e.g. energy savings, transport/distribution, supply chain, technology, etc.
• Sustainability Opportunities – Opportunities arising from becoming more sustainable, e.g. new market opportunities, customer base, accreditations
• How to get started – First steps to becoming more sustainable, e.g. carbon footprints, measuring & monitoring, signposting to support, net zero accelerator tool, and funding.
Applications for exhibitors at the event are invited from businesses that provide a sustainable product/service.
The space will allow for two people per organisation to host the exhibition table and promote your products and services. The charge for this is £100.80 per organisation.
Other exhibitors will include public sector organisations such as Glasgow City Region Councils, Scottish Enterprise, and the University of the West of Scotland.
