The Scottish Government has now agreed that they will produce a regulation to extend the deadline for lodging proposals from 31 July 2023 to 31 August 2023, or four months from the date on which the valuation notice was issued, whichever is later.

This extension to 31 August 2023 will apply for the 2023 revaluation only and responds to a specific Scottish Chambers of Commerce recommendation and follow through direct with the Minister.

Any ratepayers intending to lodge revaluation proposals are encouraged to do so as soon as possible.
