In a proud and memorable moment for the Inverclyde Chamber of Commerce (ICC), two of our esteemed team members, Corey Beaton, Business Development & Membership Executive, and Penelope Hof, Financial Controller, were honoured with a prestigious invitation to attend His Majesty The King’s Garden Party at the Palace of Holyroodhouse in Edinburgh.
Held annually during the Royal Week in Scotland, The King’s Garden Party is a celebration of community service, leadership, and outstanding contributions to society. It brings together individuals from across the country who have made a meaningful difference in their communities and professions. Corey and Penelope’s inclusion in this year’s event is a fitting recognition of their unwavering dedication to supporting and growing Inverclyde’s business community.
Representing ICC in the splendid grounds of the Palace of Holyroodhouse, Corey and Penelope joined thousands of guests from various sectors in a day marked by royal hospitality, community spirit, and sunshine – a true celebration of Scottish civic life.
“This invitation is a huge honour and reflects not just our personal efforts, but the collective impact of the ICC team and our incredible members,” said Corey Beaton. “To be recognised at such a level is humbling and inspiring.”
Penelope Hof echoed the sentiment, adding, “It was a day we’ll never forget – a celebration of service and a reminder of the value of community-focused work. We’re proud to bring a bit of Inverclyde to such a prestigious occasion.”
The ICC is delighted to see the hard work and commitment of its staff acknowledged in such a distinguished way. We extend our heartfelt congratulations to Corey and Penelope on this well-deserved recognition.
