Hardship Fund For Creative Freelancers To Close On Monday

Applications for the Creative Hardship fund will close at 2pm on Monday 14th March 2022.

This fund offers support for creative freelancers working in the arts, screen and creative sectors in Scotland who are experiencing immediate financial hardship due the loss of income as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic.

Applicants can ask for between £500 and £2,000 in support.

Following feedback from the sector, Creative Scotland and the Scottish Government took the decision to close the Cancellation Fund for Creative Freelancers on 23 January 2022 and allocate the remaining funds to this new round of the Hardship Fund for Creative Freelancers.

If you applied for and received support through previous COVID-19 funds for creative freelancers – including the Hardship Fund for Creative Freelancers, the Screen Hardship Fund or the Cancellation Fund for Creative Freelancers – you can still apply for a further supplemental award of up to £2,000.
