Inverclyde Chamber of Commerce (ICC) has welcomed a new national company to its membership as the newest organisation to join Inverclyde’s largest business network.
MM Search is an independent executive search firm, recruiting senior talent for top businesses by helping companies to transform the way it hires leaders and fundamentally changing the future of executive search in the UK and Internationally.
The thriving business was launched in the summer of 2018 and has already supported a variety of Inverclyde based businesses, including Peak Scientific, McGill’s Buses, PG Paper.
MM Search has enjoyed early success in the executive search sector by making its recruitment process more transparent, streamlined and digital.
The business is led by its joint managing partner’s, Inverclyde-locals Ken Morrice and Derek MacFeate from its offices in Glasgow and Aberdeen.
Derek MacFeate, joint managing partner, MM Search, said:
“We are delighted to be able to join the Inverclyde Chamber of Commerce and further support its growth. We have been greatly impressed by the support and offer provided, despite being a business located outside of the area.
“At MM Search we are in a position of expectation meets reality, our experience shows that we know what top-performing businesses need.
“Trust is at the top of the agenda when executive search teams are entrusted to identify the next leader, managing director or chairperson of an organisation and we are keen to develop more opportunities to work with Inverclyde businesses.”
Earlier this year, MM Search announced it would become the new club and shirt sponsor of Greenock Wanderers Rugby Football Club for 2019/2020.
MM Search also works closely with Scotland rugby hero, turned talent and coaching expert, Tony Stanger from Stanger Pro. Tony’s vast experience in the world of elite sport is brought to the boardroom to the benefit of both MM Search and its clients.
Inverclyde Chamber currently boasts over 15% of the local business base within its membership, and provides regular networking events, national policy and local news updates as well as connecting local organisations together to improve their business.
ICC President, Gavin McDonagh said:
“We are delighted to welcome MM Search as the newest member to Inverclyde Chamber of Commerce, and we wish Derek and Ken continued success with their growth across Scotland.
“ICC continues to see a rising interest in membership from companies and individuals that perhaps stay locally but work nationally.
“Our door is open to all businesses that want to contribute to the local economy, and we look forward to continued growth in 2020.”
