Inverclyde Chamber of Commerce Seeks a Dynamic Marketing and Events Executive

The Inverclyde Chamber of Commerce (ICC) is excited to announce a new opportunity for a Marketing and Events Executive to join our team. This role offers a unique chance to shape the business landscape of Inverclyde by driving engagement, managing events, and enhancing communication with our members and the wider community.

As the voice of businesses in the region, ICC is dedicated to fostering economic growth and supporting local enterprises. The Marketing and Events Executive will play a key role in this mission, managing and delivering a range of high-profile events, including our prestigious ICON Awards. The successful candidate will also lead communication efforts, ensuring our members stay informed and engaged through website updates, newsletters, and social media management.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Organising and executing a diverse programme of events, working closely with the Board and Business Development Executive.
  • Leading the planning and delivery of ICC’s Annual Awards Ceremony.
  • Developing and implementing an effective communications strategy to engage members and stakeholders.
  • Managing website content and producing engaging newsletters.
  • Overseeing social media channels to maintain a strong online presence.
  • Collaborating with the accounts team to ensure seamless operations.
  • Monitoring and reporting on marketing activities to optimise strategy and performance.

We are looking for a proactive, highly organised individual with a passion for marketing and events. 

This part-time role (2-3 days per week) is ideal for undergraduate or postgraduate students looking to gain hands-on experience, as well as recent graduates eager to build their career in a vibrant and dynamic environment.

Location & Salary:

Based in Greenock, with the requirement to work in person.

Pay: From £12.00 per hour.
