The Department of Work & Pensions and Inverclyde Chamber is delighted to support Inverclyde Council as they invite local employers to attend their Disability Confident event.

The event, which will be held at the Greenock Town Hall on 21st February, aims to highlight the advantages and offer support of employing and retaining individuals with long term health conditions and disabilities through the Disability Confident scheme.

Disability Confident leader Inverclyde Council will host this employer engagement event which is free to attend and open to all Inverclyde Businesses. Attendees will hear first hand about the benefits of being a Disability Confident Employer and how disabled people can make a major contribution to the success of your business.

The event will also highlight the range of ways that local businesses can get involved in the scheme and how this can be tailored to fit your business needs.
