The Minister for Trade, Investment and Innovation, Ivan McKee MSP, has sent a letter to the Scottish Business Community praising the work being done by Scottish Businesses to maximise the flow of equipment and products to the health and social care services.

In the letter he has said:

“A complete supply chain has been built from scratch utilising Scottish companies to manufacture hand sanitiser at volume. This includes supply of alcohol from our drinks sector, conversion to sanitiser by chemical businesses, and then bottling by other businesses for supply to front line services. A number of technical, logistical, regulatory and taxation issues have been successfully resolved to make this happen.”
