Local Action Group Announces Funding Opportunities for Small & Medium Organisations

Greater Renfrewshire & Inverclyde Local Action Group (GRI LAG) is pleased to announce the opening of applications for capital and revenue funding to support small and medium-sized organizations, micro-businesses, social enterprises, and local groups across Gourock, Wemyss Bay, Inverkip, and Kilmacolm. The application deadline is set for August 21, 2024.

The  GRI LAG is prioritizing projects that align with its key focus areas:

  • Eradicating Child Poverty
  • Growing the Economy
  • Tackling the Climate Emergency
  • Improving Public Services


Eligible projects should address at least one of these priorities and can include initiatives to:

  • Support and enhance rural communities and villages
  • Combat climate change
  • Sustain and grow local rural businesses, micro-businesses, and social enterprises
  • Address issues of inclusion, diversity, and rural poverty, including child poverty, food security, and support for working families
  • Create opportunities specifically for young people
  • Foster collaboration and partnership working

All funded projects must complete their activities and expenditure by 1st March, 2025.
