ICC Member, McGill’s Buses will celebrate the arrival of Inverclyde’s first electric buses with launch events this month.
The new buses will enhance the passenger experience and are a huge step towards the company’s fleet becoming zero emission.
The vehicles will be fitted with USB charging points at every seat and have minimal noise, making rides smooth and comfortable.
The new electric fleet will be used on Greenock to upper Port Glasgow services 531, 532, and 533, and Greenock to Burns Square, Larkfield, service 517.
There will be a launch event at Coronation Park, Port Glasgow on Friday 24 February from 2pm and another at Clyde Square, Greenock on Tuesday 28 February from 2pm.
