The Scottish Government has extended the 100% rates relief for those businesses in the Retail, Hospitality, Leisure and Aviation sectors for the whole of 2021-22.

While there are no changes to eligibility from last year, businesses must apply for this relief in 2021-22.

Application forms have been posted to the billing address for those businesses who qualified last year and have been sent electronically where an email address is held on file.

Of the 269 businesses that received the rates relief last year, 119 are still to apply.  These businesses are urged to complete and return the application form as quickly as possible to avoid receiving a bill without the relief due.

Completed forms should be returned by email to rates@inverclyde.gov.uk.
