Overview:

MindMosaic Counselling and Therapy is an Inverclyde based charity providing counselling and therapy service to people in Inverclyde and beyond.

Our aim since inception has always been simple, we strive to work alongside people, both individually and in organisations across Inverclyde.

Our Mission Statement – “to improve mental health and wellbeing of Inverclyde people and communities.”

As qualified professionals with a passionate belief in the positive benefits that a therapeutic intervention can have, we work to deliver a quality consistent product to all.

Our main products and services include highly effective counselling and psychotherapy sessions, aimed at providing individuals with the support and guidance they need to improve their mental health and well-being. We specialise in trauma therapy, offering a safe and compassionate environment for individuals who have experienced traumatic events to heal and recover.

We also offer specialist adult survivor services, catering to adults who have experienced abuse or trauma during childhood. Our dedicated team of therapists provides tailored therapy sessions to address the unique needs and challenges faced by adult survivors.

For families affected by perinatal mental health issues, we offer specialised services to support both the parents and their infants during this crucial period. Our perinatal mental health services aim to promote healthy bonding and mental well-being for the entire family.

In addition to our therapeutic services, we provide counselling training for individuals interested in pursuing a career in the field of mental health. Our comprehensive training programs equip participants with the necessary skills and knowledge to become competent and compassionate helpers.

Furthermore, we organise various groups and diversionary activities to create a supportive community and promote social engagement. These activities can range from support groups for specific issues to recreational activities that offer individuals a respite from their daily challenges.

Overall, our main goal is to provide high-quality services that support individuals and families affected by mental health issues, ensuring they receive the care and support they need to lead fulfilling lives.

Our vision is to invest in people and support positive mental well-being. We aim to achieve this by providing high-quality therapeutic services not just within Inverclyde, but also beyond.

Our mission is to deliver these services in a manner that upholds our core values. We prioritise integrity, supporting and empowering individuals in an open and transparent way. We also strive for flexibility, ensuring our services meet the specific needs of individuals, communities, and organisations. Furthermore, we aim to make our services affordable, offering high-quality support at low costs. Inclusivity is another key value, as we strive to reduce barriers and provide accessible services. Additionally, we are dedicated to promoting mental health equality and reducing discrimination in the community.

To drive our mission forward, we have identified several key objectives. The first objective is growth, as we aim to expand our service delivery across businesses, communities, and individuals. Collaboration is another important objective, as we actively seek partnerships with other organisations to facilitate our expansion within Inverclyde and beyond. We also strive to reduce stigma surrounding mental health, both locally and nationally. Lastly, we aim to expand and develop training programs across communities using trauma-informed principles.

By working towards these goals, we hope to make a positive impact on individuals' mental well-being and contribute to a more inclusive and supportive community.
