MM Search, Scotland’s fastest-growing executive search firm, has launched an innovative new app that is set to revolutionise the way recruiters and candidates communicate.
Since launching in 2018, ICC Member MM Search has been challenging the traditional recruitment model and transforming the way that businesses hire leaders. The MM Search app is the latest development for this dynamic company and represents an exciting step forward for the headhunting industry.
As well as allowing candidates to browse the latest live vacancies in the UK and overseas, the MM Search app enables jobhunters to sign up for alerts for roles related to their discipline. This highly personalised approach means that candidates are kept updated with tailored notifications that relate to relevant opportunities without them having to regularly revisit job boards or check in with their recruitment professional.
MM Search app users will also be able to upload their CVs and register details regarding their availability so that the MM Search team can gain a deeper understanding of every candidate’s skills, experience, and preferences. Users will also receive access to the MM Search Non-Exec Academy and Future Leaders Forum.
“Embracing technology is a hugely important part of the MM Search ethos,” says Founding Managing Partner Ken Morrice. “We pride ourselves on offering a forward-thinking alternative to the traditional recruitment model and this latest launch furthers our mission to challenge the industry while offering our clients and candidates the best possible service.
“Communication is the key to MM Search’s success and this new app enables our team of search experts to stay in touch with candidates in the most efficient way possible. Digital engagement is already central to our process, and we’re excited to be able to leverage this further to stay connected with our candidates.”
The app, which is available on Google Play and the Apple App Store, is imbued with the MM Search team’s industry knowledge and experience. “Our extensive experience and insider knowledge of the recruitment sector means that the MM Search team is perfectly placed to create an app that truly benefits our candidates and our clients,” says Founding Managing Partner, Derek MacFeate.
“In addition to drawing on our own expertise, we also consulted with many of our contacts during the development process.
“One of the key messages was that jobhunters wanted a more private medium to communicate with recruiters. We listened to that feedback and the result is an app that empowers candidates to find their perfect role while remaining discreet.”
2022 has been a highly successful year for MM Search with a 40% increase in revenue, several new members of staff, and a roster of high-profile new clients, including Alexander Dennis, KCA Deutag, Talking Medicines, and Content Guru.
Over the past 12 months, the business has also been shortlisted for a number of prestigious industry awards including the British HR Awards 2022 for the Recruitment Partner of the Year category and the Inspiring Workplaces Group’s Top 50 Inspiring Workplaces across EMEA.
The business was also listed as a finalist in the Global Recruiter Awards 2022 under the Best Employer Brand category.
“Launching the MM Search app is the perfect way to end an amazing 2022,” says Ken Morrice. “We already have a host of exciting plans in place for 2023 and we’re looking forward to continuing to secure top talent for our growing portfolio of clients while providing candidates with the chance to take their next professional steps.”
