New services from FlixBus will provide links from West Fife to London and other English cities.
This new overnight service will connect Aberdeen, Dundee, Perth, Dunfermline, and Edinburgh to London, as well as Newcastle, Leeds, Sheffield, Nottingham, and Leicester.
Set to launch on June 22, these services will be run by McGill’s, the UK’s largest independent bus operator owned by Sandy and James Easdale.
Sandy Easdale said: “This further expansion will see Flix now become one of the biggest coach networks in Scotland with combined routes and cross border City connections.”
James Easdale added: “We can see a strong appetite for sustainable travel to and from Scotland, so we’re excited to ramp up McGill’s offering in partnership with FlixBus and serve more passengers than ever before.”
Andreas Schorling, managing director of FlixBus UK, said: “Thanks to huge demand, we’re delighted to increase our green, affordable network fivefold, offering high-frequency services to destinations across the country.”
It comes after new services were introduced last month, linking Dunfermline with Bristol.
Mr. Schorling added: “We’re really proud to contribute even more to Scotland’s transport infrastructure because sustainable travel options should be available and accessible to everyone.”
