“We are living through the most challenging economic times in our generation. The unknown duration of the impact makes it difficult for anyone to plan to survive and then thrive post-COVID-19. Inverclyde Chamber of Commerce has never been more critical in its role of supporting businesses in our local community.

“We’re proud to be part of a national and international network through Scottish Chambers of Commerce and we’ve been working together with the UK and Scottish Government’s to find ways to support our communities, employees and economy.

“The Inverclyde Chamber of Commerce policy platform has focused on three ‘Policy Pillars’ these are Protecting Jobs, Getting Cash to Businesses Quickly and Economic Recovery.

“Inverclyde Chamber has created a handy ‘You Asked; We Delivered’ document, which highlights what we and the Chamber network have done to support members on the three policy pillars as well as our dialogue with decision-makers. 

“Our local knowledge on the ground, provided by you, enables us to put Inverclyde’s priorities at the forefront of the discussions. We’re keeping our foot on the gas and are honoured to work on your behalf.

“The road is far from over and there will be many further challenges, but it’s now the time to come together as a strong voice.”
