What does “innovation” mean to your organisation?
Many might immediately think of big bang / blue sky transformational activities, encompassed by the term ‘radical innovation’ – but it needn’t be so.
It can also be about incremental changes to improve processes and productivity, or ‘incremental innovation”. And the approaches don’t stop there…some will have adopted ‘adjacent innovation’ as the best strategic fit, while others will pursue ‘disruptive innovation’.
Due to the ever-changing landscape of business, technology, education, and the economy – innovation is the key to Scotland achieving its aims as a nation. Colleges are uniquely placed to help the younger generation, adult learners and businesses start their innovation journey.
In collaboration with our colleagues at the College Innovation Network, West College Scotland is exploring how we can actively support our clients with innovation. To that end, a short survey has been developed to create a baseline and explore potential areas of improvement.
Your perspective would be invaluable to the ultimate success of this project, since through sharing your perspectives, you will contribute to the evolution of collaboration between colleges and employers, ultimately strengthening the education-employment ecosystem in Scotland.
The College would greatly appreciate it if you could spend the estimated 6 minutes needed to complete the survey via the below link.
Your responses will provide valuable information that will contribute to refining strategies, improving engagement practices, fostering innovation and economic growth and creating more meaningful interactions.
