RIG Arts Wins Prestigious Film Award & Secures Multi-Year Creative Scotland Funding

RIG Arts is celebrating a double achievement—winning the Audience Award at the 2025 Partick Film Festival for their 8 Short Film Showcase and securing multi-year funding from Creative Scotland to support their ambitious arts programme.

The RIG Film School, funded by the National Lottery Young Start Fund, gave young filmmakers and actors the opportunity to develop their skills and share their stories. Winning this award highlights the exceptional creativity and talent emerging from Inverclyde.

In addition, RIG Arts is thrilled to announce significant support from Creative Scotland, enabling a bold programme of residencies, bursaries, participatory engagement, and cultural events. This funding reinforces RIG Arts’ core mission—improving lives through inclusive access to the arts, supporting fair-paid development opportunities for artists, and strengthening communities through creativity and innovation.

RIG Arts is proud to join a fantastic portfolio of artists and organisations contributing to Scotland’s thriving cultural landscape. Huge thanks go to Creative Scotland, the artists, and the incredible Inverclyde community for their continued support.
