A merger has been agreed by two prominent Inverclyde-based property agents to create a new bespoke commercial property business, Bowman Rebecchi Limited.

ICC Members ARB Growth, led by former Riverside Inverclyde executive and ICC Junior Vice-President Andrew Bowman, and Marco Rebecchi, owner of Rebecchi Architectural Services, have agreed to bring the property agency elements of their respective businesses together to create the new venture.

Bowman Rebecchi will provide a vast array of services, including commercial letting and sales, portfolio management including billing, maintenance and refurbishment work, partnering with local business expertise to support delivery.

Co-founder, Andrew Bowman said:

“The creation of Bowman Rebecchi is the next natural step for Marco and me. We have been working successfully together on several projects over the past year.

“We are excited to bring the businesses together and see a gap in the market to provide a high-quality and local commercial letting and sales services, as well as further property services for both owners and their tenants.

“The promotion, marketing and overall management of commercial properties are still fairly traditional. This new venture allows us to deliver an outstanding and contemporary service for owners, as well as providing wider complimentary services.

“We also enjoy excellent existing relationships with national property agents and see a further opportunity to work closely with these global organisations through joint-agency.”

Bowman Rebecchi will provide another boost to the independent retailers on Kempock Street in Gourock after the owners agreed to a long-term lease on the former Foundation store.

External refurbishment works have concluded following successful applications to have both the class use and refurbishment works agreed with the planning department at Inverclyde Council. The Council is also providing grant support through its Property Assistance and Small Business Assistance schemes.

The new enterprise has already enjoyed early success, with the firm currently marketing the former Jobcentre in Port Glasgow and other Arranglen properties, as well as the management services for Fort Matilda Industrial Estate.
