Scotland’s Towns Conference is back for 2021, bringing together stakeholders from across public, private and third sectors, working to support our towns and city districts.
The conference takes place from Monday 22nd November through to Friday 26th November. The full programme can be found here.
Focus
Since the publication of the original “Fraser Review” of town centre policy in 2013, the policy landscape has changed significantly. From the Community Empowerment Act to Brexit, from City & Region deals to the recent Programme for Government, all have had an impact on town centre policy and practice.
Scotland’s Towns Conference 2021 will focus on Greater, Greener, Fairer: A New Future for Scotland’s Towns and discuss key recommendations from the Town Centre Action Plan Review group (www.futuretowns.scot). The conference will be grounded by core sessions on 1) Policy, Planning, Place, 2) Financing and 3) Delivering.
