Cardwell Celebrates Its 60th Anniversary With Garden Party

It’s party time at Cardwell Garden Centre this weekend as they celebrate 60 years in business.

Everyone is invited to ICC Member Cardwell’s 60th Anniversary Garden Party from 11am to 4pm on Saturday and Sunday, July 23 and 24.

There are lots of fun activities going on as well as some great anniversary-themed money-saving offers with £60 off selected garden furniture, the chance to win a £60 gift voucher when you spend £60 or more and a special Cardwell Anniversary Rose Bush on sale for only £11.99.

During the weekend of celebrations, there will be live music featuring the popular Clydeside Singers and a DJ playing everyone’s favourite tunes; kids can meet the Dave the Minion mascot and take part in a Minion Treasure Hunt to win a goody bag. There will also be a face-painting artist on hand, which is always a favourite with youngsters.

Cardwell’s fairground carousel will be in action and kids can bounce the day away on a Bouncy Castle as well as take part in fun and games including Hook the Duck, Hoopla and Feed the Clown.

Proceeds from the anniversary event will be donated to local charities.

Cardwell’s retail general manager, Paul Carmichael said: “We’ve had a fantastic reaction from people when they hear 2022 is our 60th anniversary year.

“We hope customers old and new will come along to Cardwell at the weekend and enjoy this special occasion with us.

“One thing’s for sure, there will be plenty to do for kids and grown-ups and a good time will be had by all!”
