The host of CVS Inverclyde’s Third Sector Conference will be Shereen Nanjiani MBE, the BBC and STV journalist and presenter.

The lineup is being added to each week and the confirmed speakers so far are:

• Louise Long, CEO of Inverclyde Council
• Dr Linda de Caestecker, Director of Public Health NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde.
• Carnegie UK: Jen Wallace (director) and Anna Grant (senior policy and development officer)
• Representatives from Corra Foundation
• Shona Robison MSP, Cabinet Secretary for Social Justice, Housing and Local Government (video message).

There are also some useful breakout workshops lined up including:

• A Funding workshop
• A scenario workshop from the Community Link workers exploring their role in supporting vulnerable people in Inverclyde.
• A new volunteering strategy for Inverclyde
