Gourock Schoolchildren Compete For National Enterprise Recognition

Hour Crafty Clocks

The Young Enterprise Company Programme (Renfrewshire region) winners are Hour Crafty Clocks, a group of students from St Columba’s High School in Gourock.

The group is now preparing for a virtual Scottish final, competing against the winning teams from 16 other regions across Scotland and the business is looking for the public to vote for them in ‘People’s Choice’ award, which opens today.

Hour Crafty Clocks produces a variety of stylish clocks suitable for a domestic or work environment. The ingenuity of its products allows flexibility to fit the needs of its diverse market. The business aims to promote sustainability through the development and production of our upcycled products, such as clocks made from vinyl records, sweet tin lids and discarded tartan.

Multiple ICC members support the programme as business advisors, and now ICC is looking for the wider network to show its support to the bid to be the best in Scotland.
