Inverclyde Chamber AGM 2021

Thank you to all of the businesses and members that joined Inverclyde Chamber of Commerce’s 2021 AGM on Wednesday 23rd June 2021.

Our member’s presence and support are very much appreciated but like most things at the moment, it is just a shame it couldn’t be in-person to enjoy a proper evening event.

The event was also Gavin McDonagh’s final AGM as President, following 3 years of leading the Chamber. Taking us through proceedings with his knowledge and good humour, Gavin shared highlights for the Chamber during what has been an extremely challenging year for many businesses.

Appreciation was shown to the Board for their continued support, both current and those retiring during the year, along with the Chamber staff.

Gavin also told us about his drive to motivate the improvement of the transport and negotiation of Greenock to the M8 and the importance of the improvement of our trunk roads.

Mark Spragg will pick up the reins as the new ICC President, bringing his spirit to the Chamber and more will follow from Mark in the coming weeks.

Inverclyde Chamber is the voice of business and commerce for Inverclyde, and your voice to build back better for the future.

The Chamber has a talented Board which it is looking to strengthen over the coming months.  If you would like to join the Board of Directors, or you know of someone that could bring new skills, a point of view, or input in a specialist area to our team, please contact Heather Maclaurin.

As always, if you are a Chamber member and you have a story to share, get in touch with us at marketing@inverclydechamber.co.uk
