Inverclyde Chamber of Commerce Praised Over Trade Links Bid

Inverclyde Chamber of Commerce has been praised at a meeting with UK trade bosses for its ‘groundbreaking’ bid to boost trade links with other countries.

The organisation was described as ‘a very active and outward-looking chamber’ at a meeting with the Department for International Trade.

The Chamber spearheaded the launch of an international trade partnership earlier this year, with a virtual mission connecting local firms with their Colombian peers.

A second international trade initiative, this time targeting Italy, was launched in September.

Further trade missions are now also in the pipeline, with the Chamber to announce its 2022 calendar shortly.
