Architect / Senior Architectural Technologist

Richard Robb Architects is a well-established practice based in a bright, modern waterfront studio in Gourock. With projects located across Scotland, RRA designs for a wide range of sectors including residential, commercial, leisure and industrial projects.

The business is currently seeking a passionate, organised and enthusiastic Architect or experienced technician to join its team.

Candidates would have the opportunity to be directly involved in all stages of architectural projects. Day to day duties would include assisting the director in managing projects, administration, design output, and ensuring the delivery of exceptional customer service.

Where applicable, candidates should be qualified RIBA Part 3, MCIAT or equivalent, have strong design and presentations skills, technical knowledge, and be enthusiastic about developing their own professional skills.

RRA aims to provide a stimulating and supportive environment with early opportunities for promotion and a shareholding package for suitable employees.

Candidates must be proficient in the use of:

  • AutoCAD
  • Adobe Suite
  • Microsoft Office
  • 3D visualisation skills/SketchUp
  • A sound grounding in general building construction for both refurbishment and newbuild projects and have a comprehensive understanding of current Scottish Building Regulations.

Salary is negotiable depending on experience. Part-time applications may be considered.
