The University of Strathclyde has been awarded further funding from the Scottish Government and Scottish Funding Council to expand its portfolio of fully-funded Upskilling and Microcredentials modules for Scottish based learners in 2022.
These courses are shorter, flexible modules delivered either online or through blended learning which allow learners to study when it works for them. Modules are all credit-bearing so learners will achieve SCQF credits and an e-certificate upon completion.
As Scotland’s economy recovers from the pandemic and the impact of the EU exit as well as the focus on the transition to Just Net Zero, there is an urgent need for cross and reskilling. One of the modules could be just the way for you to do that.
If you have identified a skills gap in your current role, are looking for support to return to employment or want to develop yourself and your career prospects then Upskilling with Strathclyde may have the module for you.
You may be looking to Build your Confidence, Identify and Adapt your Skills in mid or late-career or learn to be a More Effective Listener.
Ranging from general employability modules preparing you with transferrable skills for work, to courses in Engineering, Business, Maths, Digital Skills and Education, the University has something for everyone. Applications for study are open now.
