Member News: Ardgowan Hospice To Host Silent Auction Fundraiser

Neil Barr - Perch Light by Moonlight, Port Glasgow.

Ardgowan Hospice will be holding a silent auction to help raise critical funds from 20th-27th March.

Under normal circumstances, the Hospice would normally hold its annual ball, which would have raised thousands of pounds of crucial funds, but with the global pandemic and restrictions, this isn’t possible.

As a result, Indigo Unified Communications is donating the auction technology along with two auction items to try to help the Hospice recoup some of its losses.

Lots secured so far include items for art lovers including:

  • DS Steve Arnot’s official Line of Duty jacket donated and warn by Greenock’s very own Martin Compston
  • 2 x hospitality tickets at both Rangers and Celtic for next season, courtesy of Indigo Unified Communications (Package includes 3-course meal, free bar and watching the game from the box
  • ‘Perchlight by Moonlight’ donated by local award-winning photographer, Neil Barr
  • ‘Clyde Summer Dusk’ donated by local Scottish Landscape Artist Kevin Hunter
  • A painting of Cloch Lighthouse donated by Glasgow based artist Michelle Hynes
  • A painting of Cardwell Bay by local artist onegraycloud
  • A cosmetics hamper donated by Ardgowan Beauty

The Hospice would like to thanks all of its donors, and if you’d like to donate to the auction, contact fundraising@ardhosp.co.uk.
