Blairs Timber Windows & Doors is looking for a Customer Service Coordinator to join its Greenock team.

The business is part of The Saveheat Group. Blairs Timber manufactures high-quality timber windows and doors from their factory in Greenock, near Glasgow.

A proud ICC Member, Blairs is looking for a motivated individual to work in a fast-paced, manufacturing environment – ideally, with experience in the industry – however, training will be provided.

The successful candidate will be tasked with following up on quotations in order to convert these into sales.

This person should have previous customer service experience, excellent relationship-building abilities, be very organised, and be able to work on their own initiative.

Main Duties and Responsibilities:

• Act as a key contact within the business.

• Be an advocate and voice for the customer ensuring the necessary stakeholders are involved within the business.

• Build and maintain successful customer relationships with regular, proactive contact.

• Communicate regular updates to your designated accounts.

• Take responsibility to identify and correct any errors – escalating as needed to ensure the issue is effectively resolved.

Skills and Attributes:

• General IT skills-Microsoft office

• Excellent communication skills and telephone manner

• Helpful “can do” attitude

• Good planning and organisation skills

• Team player and be able to work on own initiative

• Experience in sales or customer-facing role

• Experience of working in window industry or manufacturing
