Pivotal Enterprise Resilience Fund Reopens Today

Fiona Hyslop MSP

The Scottish Government’s Pivotal Enterprise Resilience Fund (PERF), a £90m support package for SME firms that are vital to Scotland’s economy and have been impacted by COVID-19 will reopen for new applications from 10.30am on Thursday, 14 May.

A pause has been in place since 5pm on Tuesday 5th May to allow partners to review initial completed applications following an exceptionally high level of interest received from companies.

The additional £45 million funding announced by the Scottish Government on Friday has been crucial to helping to meet the demand there has been for this funding.

The Government is continuing to work hard to process offers of grant applications so that all approved applicants can receive their funding as quickly as possible. Businesses who applied should receive communications by email over the next few days as to their status.

Alongside its partners, the Scottish Government continues to closely monitor the volume of new applications for the PERF and the £20 million Creative, Tourism & Hospitality Enterprises Hardship Fund, with both funds expected to reach their full capacity in the coming days, therefore it is anticipated that these will close at 5pm on Monday, 18 May.

Scottish Enterprise, along with Highlands and Islands Enterprise and South of Scotland Enterprise, will continue to deliver these funds, with support from Creative Scotland and VisitScotland for the hardship fund.  Companies can apply at https://findbusinesssupport.gov.scot/, where full eligibility criteria for each fund is also provided.
