Director Steps Down From ICC Board

Puneet Gupta, Chief Operating Officer at PG Paper has decided not to stand for re-election as a Director of Inverclyde Chamber of Commerce, following its recent Annual General Meeting.

Gavin McDonagh, ICC President said:

“The Inverclyde Chamber of Commerce Board and Membership accepted Puneet’s resignation at its virtual AGM in June 2020.

We thank him for his contribution as a valued Board member, and with PG Paper remaining within our membership, we look forward to continuing to support them and the wider Inverclyde business community at this difficult time as the economy attempts to stabilise following Covid-19.

“The Board of Director’s, as part of our continuous review and in light of feedback received, is currently working to reappraise and modernise our procedures, ensuring that as an organisation, we comply with the highest standards of governance.

“This is being delivered with the support of Scottish Chambers of Commerce, with any amends or improvements to be presented to our membership at a later date to approve.”
