Quarterly Economic Survey Q1 2021

QEI Survey

The Q1 2021 Quarterly Economic Indicator survey fieldwork has opened, providing a chance for chamber members to share their perspective on trading conditions and help shape our policy asks to the Government moving forwards.

The Quarterly Economic Indicator Survey provides an opportunity for members of the Scottish Chamber Network to highlight the challenges facing businesses in Scotland to policymakers in Holyrood and Westminster.

It has been almost a year since most of what we know was drastically changed due to the initial outbreaks of COVID-19 in the UK and across the globe.

Businesses across Inverclyde and Scotland are facing significant pressures as a result of the pandemic and continuing lockdown restrictions.

Despite the best efforts of our businesses to keep trading and retain jobs, the pace of releasing financial support and the tightening of restrictions is making the trading environment exceptionally challenging for most.

Inverclyde Chamber continues to lobby both the Scottish & UK Governments on the need for longer and more sustained financial support, as well as provide a roadmap for the easing of restrictions and economic recovery.

In order to support that, we need your feedback.

Please take the QEI here.
