Trade Mission To Nova Scotia – October 2022

Our colleagues at the Lochaber Chamber of Commerce are leading an in-person trade mission to Canada in October 2022 to support Scottish companies looking to explore the opportunities available when trading internationally.  This mission will focus on Nova Scotia and we are pleased to invite applications from Scottish businesses.

Nova Scotia offers many opportunities for Scottish businesses including but not limited to the list below:

  • Retail
  • Food and Drink
  • Ocean Technologies
  • Cultural Heritage and Arts Sector
  • Aquaculture
  • Agriculture
  • Forestry
  • Offshore Wind
  • Digital Health Care Solutions

What is involved?

As part of this trade mission, delegates will receive market briefings on key opportunities in Nova Scotia, a networking event with business organisations in Halifax; and one-to-one business meetings with potential clients or trade partners in Nova Scotia, based on your company requirements.

This is a fantastic opportunity to dip your toe in the water at a relatively low cost.

LCC arranges meetings and special events, and you pay the cost of your own travel, accommodation and some food (estimated to be approx. £1,200).

Who can apply?

Open to any company in Scotland looking to grow their international trade activity in Canada.

Companies do not need to be a member of a Chamber of Commerce Cross-sector delegation
