ICC Review of 2019

Gavin McDonagh - ICC President

Inverclyde Chamber of Commerce (ICC) President, Gavin McDonagh introduces ICC’s Review of 2019:

“Welcome to Inverclyde Chamber of Commerce’s annual review, showcasing the business headlines throughout 2019 for our local area.

“It’s not until you read through that you realise just how much activity has taken place, and more importantly, how much Inverclyde has progressed.

“This is hugely important if we are to continue to attract new businesses to the area and help secure growth for the existing base.

“It has been a hugely significant year for ICC as well as a busy one. We have seen the collaboration of a new Board, a new five-year strategy, new Vice-Presidents, a new Senior Executive, new branding, a new website and a revamped offer to the local business community.

“We always knew that this first year of the new strategy was one of re-building, and I’m delighted at how well we have achieved this so far. We have seen a renewed energy in our events programme, increased engagement from the local business community and our members and a much more positive outlook for the future of business in Inverclyde.

“I want to thank all of our Member’s, our fantastic Senior Exec – Rachel Burns, the Board of Director’s, our sponsors and everyone that has engaged with ICC this year.

“Please enjoy the review, and I look forward to seeing you all again in the new year. Merry Christmas and here’s to a prosperous 2020!”
