The latest Inverclyde Chamber of Commerce tour behind the scenes of local businesses took place at Blairs Windows and Doors in Greenock on 12 December 2019.

The event was well attended, with over 25 businesses, members and supporters of the Chamber in attendance on a crisp winter morning.

Blairs Managing Director, Alex Gray opened the event and gave a background to the business as well as its recent strategy and successes.

Operations Manager, Joe Boyd then took the delegates around the factory floor, giving the opportunity to see the size and scale of the organisation, while showing first-hand the skills and end products.

President Gavin McDonagh said:

“A big thank you to Alex and Joe for opening their doors to Inverclyde Chamber of Commerce. A lot of effort goes into preparing for these events so we appreciate their support.

“We had some fantastic feedback from those in attendance, all commenting on the size, scale and quality of the operation at Blairs Windows and Doors.

“As the last Chamber event for 2019, it was a perfect way to wrap up a hugely significant year for ICC and look forward to working with the local business community again in 2020.”
