Suppliers of Essential PPE Equipment Asked to Offer Support to NHS

The NHS and Scottish Government are asking Scottish Businesses who supply PPE equipment to come forward and help provide essential items identified such as masks and gowns.

Listed below are the essential items identified by the Scottish Government and any suppliers who are able to meet the requirements are asked to get in touch with the NHS supply chain team as soon as possible:

  • Surgical Masks (Type IIR Fluid Resistant, EN 14683:2019 standard)

  • Surgical Gowns (long sleeved gowns non sterile EN 13795-2:2019 standard)

  • Swabs-Testing Kit (bottle, agent, stick)

  • COVID-19 test kits

  • Disposable eye wear and disposable full face visors (EN 166:2001 standard)
